Popular Indian playback singer Alka Yagnik turns a year older on 20 March. The iconic Bollywood singer has given us a million chartbusters songs. The 53-year-old singer has sung the maximum number of female solos in Bollywood. She holds the record of the No.1 Global Artist on YouTube. On the occasion of her 54th birthday, we have made a list of the classic and evergreen songs that made their movies popular among audiences.

Raja is a 1995 action-romantic drama film which featured Sanjay Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles. The film became a big-time blockbuster at the box office and was the third-highest grosser of the year. The entire playlist of Raja was sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. Tumne Agar Pyar Se Dekha was sung by Alka Yagnik and was composed by Nadeem-Shravan. The lyrics of this beautiful song was penned down by Sameer. The film became an instant hit on the box office and won million hearts with its storyline. The all-time favourite song Pehli Pehli Baar Mohabbat Ki Hai was sung by Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu. The song was composed by Nadeem-Shravan, with lyrics penned by Sameer. The song became a chartbuster and became the ninth best-selling Bollywood music album of 1999.

5. Hai Mera Dil from Josh

Hai Mera Dil was sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik for the film Josh. Josh was a 2000 action-romance film which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Chandrachur Singh and Sharad Kapoor in the lead roles. The film was entirely shot in Goa and became the fifth highest-grossing film of 2000 in India. The soundtrack of the film became the highest-selling album in 2000.

Chandi Ki Daal Par was sung by Alka Yagnik and composed by Himesh Reshammiya for the 1999 comedy action film Hello Brother. The film starred Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Rani Mukerji in lead roles. The song gained a lot of eyeballs with its lyrics and cinematography. Humein Tumse Hua Hai Pyaar was sung by Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan and was composed by Anu Malik. The song became extremely popular among listeners.
