Hacked Music Review: Spooky Yet Seductive, Hacked Songs Are Easily Likeable

Hacked starring Hina Khan, Rohan Shah and Sid Makkar gets a right mix of horror and romance with it's music, topped by a surprise dance number.

Tu Jo Mili

Hacked, starring Hina Khan, Rohan Shah and Sid Makkar released to rave reviews last week. This is a unique tech horror film where the life of Sam (Hina Khan) is turned upside down by a hacker Vivek (Rohan Shah). This movie is directed by Vikram Bhatt and follows the Bhatt tradition of having great music to go with their films.

Tu Jo Mili is composed by the Jeet Gannguli, the man behind hit movie songs from Aashiqui 2 and Citylights. This is a classic romantic song that will tug at your heartstrings and you will relate to if you are newly in love. The movie video however, has an eerie feel because you find Vivek spying on Sam and her boyfriend (Sid Makkar) in their private moments.

This song is a perfect sing along with an acoustic guitar around a bonfire. It is a romantic song that will make you want to cuddle beside your partner. This song is written, composed and sung by Arko Mukherjee who made his mark in Bollywood with the songs in Jism 2. The video featuring Hina Khan and Mohit Malhotra perfectly suits the song.

Ab Na Phir Se

Ab Na Phir Se is a song about heartbreak and will comfort your broken heart. This song by Yasser Desai is perfect to get over a break up and move on, especially if you are feeling particularly down on Valentine’s day. The video It shows Hina Khan vying for attention for her actor boyfriend who is secretly cheating on her and slowly losing faith in her relationship.

Tujhe Haasil Karunga

Tujhe Hasil Karunga is by far the spookiest song on the album. The lyrics written by Kumaar (Baby Doll, Chittiyan Kalaaiyan) leaves your scared by the lines before the music itself fills you a sense of danger with the heavy rock music. The video reveals the true fear with Hina Khan realising how much Vivek has been spying on her everyday.

Lavkar Love Karuya

This dance number stands out from the rest of the music from this film. This is right for a house party post 11 pm when you are no longer afraid of people judging your taste in music. This is an instant dance track with a quriky hook like and step so you can match steps with Hina Khan in the video.
