Vidya Balan has an interesting birthday plan, much like every year. The Nerkonda Paarvai actress has had quite an eventful 2019, as she starred in several multilingual films. From playing Ajith Kumar’s wife in Nerkonda Paarvai to a scientist in Mission Mangal, to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s wife in NTR Kathanayakudu, Vidya played diverse and interesting roles. With such a flourishing year, the actress certainly deserves a big celebration. As Vidya celebrates her 42nd birthday today, it is speculated that the actress plans to host a huge bash.
Vidya is a party-head and loves to throw lavish soirees. In the past few years, the Dirty Picture actress has thrown some fun theme parties. Her theme for last year was retro night. Taking to Instagram, Vidya even shared some fun images from her fabulous party. A year before that, the actress hosted a mad hatter’s ball. It was a fun party, as was the retro night held last year. It is speculated that she will probably host yet another one of her famous theme parties, as she rings in her birthday on January 1.

On a professional front, Vidya will be seen next in Sakuntala Devi, a film which is based on the late mathematical genius. The movie also stars Sanya Malhotra, who will play her daughter. It is slated for a summer 2020 release and will be directed by Anu Menon.
Vidya Balan played the role of Kalyani Bharath, wife of Bharath Subramanian (essayed by Ajith Kumar) in Nerkonda Paarvai. The film, directed by H. Vinoth, is a Tamil remake of the hit Hindi film, Pink. The story revolves around three independent women and how they get embroiled in a legal mess with Adhik and his well-connected friends, for refusing to bed them. Bharath, a retired lawyer, decides to take up their case and help them win it, while explaining the importance of acknowledging the word ‘No.’ The film also stars Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Arjun Chidambaram, Adhik Ravichandran, Ashwin Rao, Rangaraj Pandey, Sujith Shankar, Delhi Ganesh, and Jayaprakash.
