Let Shevanta, Yesubai, and others show you how you can use flowers to come up with unique hairdos. Pics inside!

Gajras are synonymous with the traditional Indian look. Most Indian women sport these in their hair, when dressed up for occasions such as weddings or festivals. Several Zee Marathi actresses too love to wear gajras in their hair, when clad in sarees for various events such as promotional stints, red carpet, or even on the shows that they are a part of. Beauties such as Apurva Nemlekar, Prajakta Gaikwad, Akshaya Deoshar etc., often put up pictures of themselves, flaunting their beautiful hairdos with gajras that they sport with traditional Indian wear. Apurva’s character Shevanta in Ratris Khel Chale 2, often sports plaits that are decorated with flowers, and these simply add to the beauty of her Indian attire.

Watch an episode from the show Ratris Khel Chale 2 here.

Shevanta’s plain braids are often accessorised with gajras, made either from chameli or mogra flowers, which make the plain hairstyle look appealing and attractive. In this image below, Shevanta can be seen wearing a plain saree but her detailed hairstyle immediately catches our attention.

Aside from looking beautiful, these flowers also add a fragrance to your hairdo. It is not just Apurva who shares a love for gajras, but also Dhanashri Kadgaonkar aka Tuzhat Jeev Rangala‘s Nandita. The actress is a classical dancer and uses gajras to decorate her hair for her look during her performances.

Dhanashri’s former co-star from the show, Akshaya Deodhar aka Anjali, too follows suit, where she often sports gajras with her sarees. The actress can be seen sporting a gajra in her bun here as she carries off a traditional Indian look like a true queen!

Prajakta Gaikwad, who plays Yesubai in Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji gets added to the list as she’s a fan of gajras too. For events and during festivals, this beauty likes to add an extra touch to her look with the help of gajras.

We think flowers add a feminine touch to the attire and make a woman look more pretty. What is your take on this? Comment below to let us know your thoughts.
