Monty Singh is a fictional character of an international terrorist. He has a good network in South East Asian countries including Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. He was accused of over 10 cases and kept in a maximum security prison in Punjab, when he returned from Thailand. He headed a militant group, that famously abducted the Romanian envoy in New Delhi.

Monty Singh used Thailand as a base of his operations. He made a fake Malaysian passport and identity card to travel across Europe and South East Asia and develop contacts. He often travelled to Pakistan, where he was reported to have acquired funds and support. As per the police files, Monty had the backing of an intelligence agency’s agents to carry out terror activities in Punjab.

Some reports also suggest that Monty was planning an attack on Independence Day in Punjab with ISI support but the plan failed. He was also accused to targeted attacks against a few political leaders. Monty Singh and his 9 associates were chased by the police and we will see Amit Sadh playing the role of a Delhi Police officer.
