Pavitra Rishta actor Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, has committed suicide, he was found hanging at his Bandra home in Mumbai. The actor was living alone during the lockdown. According to the reports, police have confirmed the news.
His demise came as a shock to the film fraternity as this is the fourth death of a famous Bollywood personality in the past two months, after Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor succumbed to cancer and Wajid Khan from the Sajid-Wajid duo who died of kidney and heart related ailment.
Sushant’s death comes just barely a week after his former manager Disha Salian committed suicide last Monday by jumping off the 14th floor of her apartment in Mumbai.
Condolences poured in from the entire film industry for the highly-talented actor who won several awards for his roles in movies like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story and Kedarnath.
