Prasad Oak, Swwapnil Joshi, Subodh Bhave Excited As Shoots To Resume

Several actors from the film industry have expressed their excitement on social media about going back to shoots after a long hiatus.

TV and film shoots were halted for almost two months due to the outbreak of the coronavirus. Several members of the industry including the actors were forced to take a break from work and stay at home to practice social distancing. Everyone prayed for the situation to improve and go back to normal, including celebrities who have been waiting for the shoots to resume. All prayers have been answered finally! Following the announcement of #Lockdown5.0, the state government has decided to put things back on track with respect to the entertainment industry. It has partially eased the regulatory norms and has permitted for shoots to begin but only with proper safety precautions. This news has been welcomed by several actors in the industry who are delighted to get back to work after a long hiatus. Subodh Bhave, Prasad Oak, and many others shared their excitement with their fans on social media. Let’s look at some of their reactions starting with Subodh.

Subodh shared a tweet where he thanked the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray for taking such an important decision. The actor wrote that this decision would provide strength to daily wage workers who are dependent upon the industry for their livelihood. He further pledged that he would be standing by them no matter what.

Meanwhile, Prasad tweeted saying that he’s delighted to hear the news and is eagerly waiting for someone to say “Lights, camera, action!” The director of Kachha Limbu also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for easing the norms as it would do away the worries of many daily wage workers. Prasad also promised that the industry would ensure that they follow the rules of distancing and support the Government in their fight against coronavirus.

Siddharth Jadhav was quoted saying that allowing the shoots to resume comes as a huge relief for everyone who’s in dire need. The Ye Re Ye Re Paisa actor welcomed the decision of the Government and remarked that the industry would stand in solidarity with them.

On the other hand, Mumbai Pune Mumbai actor Swwapnil Joshi was overjoyed upon hearing the news and thanked the Chief Minister in his tweet. He promised to take the utmost care while shooting both individually and as a member of the film fraternity. The actor gave a special shout out to everyone who made it possible and sent his love to Aadesh Bandekar.

The decision of allowing the shoots to begin in a phased-out manner came in light after several members of the film and TV industry had a discussion over a video call with the Chief Minister.
