On the personal front, R Madhavan met Sarita Birje long before he entered into Bollywood. He met his wife in Kolhapur, where he was teaching a personality development class. The best part about this love story is that it was not Madhavan, but Sarita who approached him first and asked him out on a date. And we think, that’s the best decision she ever made. The two, got married in 1999 in a traditional Tamil wedding, and they continue to give us all major couple goals.

On the professional front, the actor, was last seen in a special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero (2018) and before that in 2017’s Vikram Vedha alongside Vijay Sethupathi. He will be next be seen in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. Directed by Ananth Mahadevan and Madhavan himself, the film, which is based on the life of former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist Nambi Narayanan, will be released in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. The film was slated to hit the theatres on March 12, 2020. However, it seems that the release of the film has been postponed for late March or early April amid coronavirus fear.
