Starring Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar, this film is about two strastruck lovers who struggle for their love. Rinku aka Archi’s family is super rich and has a political background. 4. Fandry : Another classic by Nagraj Manjule, Fandry is based upon the caste issue inMaharashtra. The young boy protagonist falls in love with a girl from a considerably higher caste and this is a big issue as it is unacceptable by the society. 5. Shwaas : An emotional tale of a grandfather’s hope of bringing colours to his grandson’s blind eyes, Shwaas is a fresh breath in the category of cinema. A slow builder in terms of story, the film was India’s official entry for Oscars in 2004.
