The Western coast of India has been put under high alert as Cyclone Nisarga is expected to make a landfall tomorrow. Reports from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) have suggested that it is likely to hit the coasts of Mumbai making it the first cyclone to reach the financial capital in over a century. The cyclone will strike the city as it suffers from the coronavirus scare with over 41,000 cases registered so far. The authorities have now issued warnings to Mumbai and its neighbouring districts, and have asked the citizens to be alert. Meanwhile, Sonalee Kulkarni and Swwapnil Joshi have also tweeted, urging fans to stay safe and be prepared.

In his tweet, Swwapnil prayed that the cyclone doesn’t cause much destruction while making its way to Mumbai and Gujarat’s coastline. He urged everyone to take care of themselves as the cyclone proves to be a looming threat to mankind.

Sonalee also shared a tweet to create awareness about the cyclone. The Hampi actress asked everyone living on the coasts of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Goa to stay alert. She offered prayers and hoped for the safety of the people stuck in this calamity.

This will be the second cyclone to strike India after Cyclone Amphan which had wreaked havoc in Orissa and Bengal just last week. Let’s offer prayers in the comment box for the people living in the affected areas and hope that they come out of it.
