A new trailer of ZEE5’s upcoming original series, State of Siege: 26/11 has been dropped on the platform. Arjun Bajwa, Arjun Bijlani, Vivek Dahiya and others play NSG commandos who were responsible for bringing down the 10 terrorists during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. The series sheds light on the role played by the NSG commandos, who conducted a relentless 60 hour-long pursuit to bring down the terrorists, who attacked the financial capital of India.
The trailer opens with a hate speech delivered by the leader of the terror group, stating how murder and death would guide them to a pathway towards nirvana. Much like how some of the religious sermons go, the leader is seen influencing a mass crowd where a handful of men are cheered on. These are the 10 guys who are later sent to Mumbai to bring her to her knees. The clip is very straightforward as it explores how the terrorists opened fire in the middle of the CST station, Nariman House, Oberoi hotel and the Taj lobby. It takes us through the chilling gunfires that made Mumbai bleed black on 26/11 and how the perpetrators were eventually taken down by NSG commandos. You can check out the new trailer below.
Staying true to the records of how the terrorists entered Mumbai port, the makers leave no stones unturned to take people back to those three terror-stricken days. The sequence followed shows how the NSG commandos took charge and fought a rescue operation to save hostages and save Mumbai from the terror attack. The trailer certainly sends a shiver down the spine as one remembers the fateful day.
State of Siege: 26/11 stars Arjun Bajwa, Arjun Bijlani, Vivek Dahiya, Sid Makkar, Mukul Dev, Tara Alisha Berry, Khalida Jaan, Jyoti Gauba, Roshni Sahota, Suzanne Bernert, Naren Kumar and Jason Shah.
