He wants to try his luck in Bollywood as a writer and runs away to Mumbai. His family tries their best to get him back, and use their political connection. Inspector Badlani, a corrupt cop, is put in charge to get Ghoomketu back within 30 days.
Ghoomketu is very passionate about writing and there is a lot we can learn from him to become a Bollywood writer.
1. Be Observant
Ghoomketu is a happy guy, with an intriguing personality and like we mentioned earlier, he’s also an aspiring writer who wants to write for Bollywood movies. Even though he aspires to be a writer, he does not have much experience in writing, but the good part is he loves to observe everyday things around him. Ghoomketu gets inspired by day to day mundane life activities and that helps him come up with a story. He observes whatever is happening around him, and pens it all down.
Ghoomketu might not have enough experience as a writer in Bollywood but what he definitely has is a whole lot of confidence in himself! He is confident and believes that one day he will become a big Bollywood writer. He runs away from home with the confidence to make it big in Bollywood as writer and carries just a few essentials like toothbrushes, tubes of toothpaste, bathing and washing soap bars from his Dadda’s shop. He even walks around with great confidence and style!
3. Convincing power
It’s a known fact that once you know how to convince someone, you will be a better entrepreneur, salesman, and a businessman, etc. Ghoomketu is a perfect example of that! His talent as a writer might not be great but he has the power to convince and the power of persuasion! He convinces people to give him a chance.
Just as dreaming big is important so is being passionate about that dream! Ghoomketu is so passionate about his dream to become a Bollywood writer, that he leaves his small village to come to a big city to realise his dreams. That’s not all, Ghoomketu is also very passionate about movies. From recalling Amitabh Bachchan’s rapid English speech before the song “My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves” in Amar Akbar Anthony, to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s dialogue “I’ll be back” in Terminator, he knows it by heart even though he may not exactly be good at saying it!
