In the previous episode of Uyire – Ties that Bind, Rajesh tells Raghu that he needs more money as he is willing to take more risks. Raghu reprimands Rajesh when he expresses his desire to work without any help. Later, Rajesh comes home and finds out that his mother-in-law is going to stay with them for a couple of weeks and he argues with Keerthy about it.
Meanwhile, Raghavan, who finds out that his wife has left him for good, sees Bhumika packing her bags and realises that she too has decided to leave him. He requests Bhumi not to leave the house.

In the twentieth episode, Bhumi, who thought to change her mind about leaving the house, refuses to stay back. Meanwhile, Priya speaks to Keerthy about Charu and Raghavan. While Priya decides to talk to her father about the issue, Keerthy decides to discuss with Bhumi to move back to the house.
Kanna, who is writing a book on crimes, tags along with Ashwin to nab the drug peddlers. He tries to make small talk with Ashwin to win his trust. Kanna also asks Ashwin about their plans about having babies.
On the other hand, Kamini speaks rudely to Keerthi when she questions her about her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Priya, on finding out about Ashwin’s frequent meetings with Kanna, gets irked. As Ashwin defends Kanna, she tells him that Kanna is up to no good, so it’s better to stay away from him. Rajesh speaks to Charu about moving to a smaller house as he is not able to afford the expenditure, indirectly asking Charu to go back to her house. Will Ashwin listen to Priya? Stay tuned!
