In the previous episode of Vettai, the officer shares his suspicions about Dayanithi’s case with Seelan. He advises Seelan to keep a tab on the people from his unit. Elsewhere, Bose threatens Angel as she plans to leave the job. Later, Nanda, who finds out that Angel is depressed, enquires about Angel’s sorrows over the phone. After the call, Angel is upset about thinking about a heartbroken Nanda.

Seelan orders Mugi and Prakash to once again interrogate Soman Ranganathan’s wife as he feels that she is hiding something. Soman’s wife tells them everything when Mugi threatens her to drag her to court for the same. Later, Mugi and Prakash keep a close watch on Soman’s house and nab a suspect Naga. Naga acts smart when Seelan interrogates him.

In the new (61) episode, Bose, who has assigned a job to Angel, praises her for executing the work skillfully. Meanwhile, Nanda argues with Seelan for interrogating Naga secretly. Since Seelan has been instructed by the higher management to keep a tab on his entire team, he refuses Nanda to speak to Naga.
